Developed by perfumer Benoist Lapouza, this fragrance is part of Kilian Hennessy's "The Liquors" collection, serving as a deeply personal tribute to the Hennessy heritage of cognac making. The name refers to the portion of a liquor's volume that is lost to evaporation during aging in oak barrels.
The fragrance is celebrated for its photorealistic, boozy, and gourmand character. It opens with an intoxicating, sharp burst of authentic cognac essence, which transitions into a warm, spicy heart of cinnamon and oak wood.
