Terre d’Hermès Intense by Hermès is a powerful and rugged Woody fragrance for men, launched in 2025. Created by Hermès’ in-house perfumer Christine Nagel, this release represents the most mineral and "volcanic" evolution of the Terre d’Hermès lineage.
While previous versions focused on the relationship between citrus, flint, and earth, Intense dives deeper into the raw, primordial elements of nature. It opens with a sharp, energizing bite of bergamot and black pepper, but quickly shifts into a dark, aromatic heart of roasted coffee and bittersweet licorice. The dry-down is exceptionally unique, featuring a "Lava and Stone" accord that mimics the scent of cooling volcanic rock and minerals, anchored by dense woody notes for a long-lasting, commanding presence.
